The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
